For driver development on the Windows platform we support the Jungo WinDriver tools. Jungo WinDriver provides support for interface hardware based on USB, PCI, PCI Express, CardBus, CompactPCI, ISA, PMC, PCI-X, PCI-104 and PCMCIA. Jungo WinDriver enables driver development for all Windows versions including Windows 2000, Windows XP and Vista.
To enable end users to verify the performance of the Windows driver and provide a starting point for their own application development, we supply device demonstration applications using the LabVIEW and .NET development platforms.
For installation of the Windows drivers we support Macrovision InstallShield.
For Linux we supply complete open source packages in C code based on the system level tools available in the Linux kernel source code. Linux device drivers are created as loadable kernel modules. The driver is accessed by the user-level application as a character-based device.
Our standard Linux drivers are based on Redhat Linux. Other Linux distributions are available on request. To enable the end users to verify the performance of the Linux driver and provide a starting point for their own application development, we supply device demonstration applications using the Glade graphical user interface development platform.
For both Windows and Linux platforms we provide ongoing product lifetime support and revision control as the measurement hardware and interfaces change.
